About Dr. McElya
Leading board-certified family physician, Dr. Martin Thou. McElya opened Neighborhood Medical Center in 1998 to provide superior, seven-twenty-four hour period medical care to patients of all ages throughout the Dallas Fort-Worth metroplex. Neighborhood Medical Center is endemic and operated by Dr. McElya and his daughter, Alyssa McElya. Dr. McElya treats patients everyday along with a first-rate team of experienced medical professionals. In fact, patients oftentimes see Dr. McElya, clad in a white lab coat and sneakers, dashing between exam rooms to ensure all his patients are seen by him directly in a timely manner.
Neighborhood Medical Middle has its own in-house lab and provides Ten-rays onsite. The practice handles family medicine, urgent care, occupational medicine, worker's compensation, immigration exams, routine physicals, vaccinations and management of chronic conditions that range from high cholesterol to diabetes. Dr. McElya brings over ii decades of diverse clinical experience treating adults and children at Neighborhood Medical Eye. Dr. McElya earned his medical degree from The University of Northward Texas Health Science Middle in Fort Worth, Texas and completed his Family Practice Internship and Residency training at Dallas Southwest Medical Center. He is a diplomat of the National Lath of Osteopathic Medical Examiners and is a long-continuing member of the American Medical Association (AMA), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), the Texas Osteopathic Medical Association (TOMA), and the Dallas County Medical Guild (DCMS).
